La Star Buffet, Sushi, Hibachi Grill And Chinese Food - All You Can Eat Variety!

I love this place!! The price is cheaper for two than eating a single plate of food elsewhere...I don't go often cuz I'll get fat but their food is the best buffet style I've had in Lake Charles, La hands down. I try to go between 2-4 when it's busy. That way I know the food will be fresh and plentiful. Our server "Selena" (An easy American or Hispanic name to say as she put it) was great and really nice to talk to and went out of her way for us which doesn't usually happen at buffets. I'll be back in a few months Also thought this sign was funny in the bathroom. Gross people apparently.

I was very impressed with this restaurant. They had a huge variety of things to choose from. Table service getting drinks was slow. I sat on one side of the restaurant and waited awhile then got up and went sit on the other side where someone came a couple minutes after. I will definitely eat there again. The food was great!

Ok our waitress Jessica, gave us the best service iv have in this town in months, she was absolutely the best and I want to thank her from the bottom of my little clans hearts she made the experience absolutely perfect, thank you jessica

A variety of sea food. Crawfish, shrimps, crabs, noodles, rice, chicken, sushi, canned fruits, fresh salads, sauces and lot of other food varieties were available to choose from. Lot of dessert options. Buffet tables were set nicely. I liked the shrimps and noodles. Their strawberry ice cream was good too. Cleanliness needed attention. Restrooms were okay. Staff at the counter/reception was unable to answer a few simple questions regarding the menu at buffet. Almost 10 minutes drive from Interstate 10 depending upon traffic. Nice place to be and I hope they improve training of their staff.

Not too bad of a Chinese buffet with a good selection of seafood and sushi. Great service from our waitress. For the price and the variety and the fact they had plenty of large shrimp and crawfish, I recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area.

LA Star Buffet is a very good place for all you can eat. They have a variety of foods selection. Their services are always wonderful. All the waitresses are always friendly and nice. The restaurant is super clean, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

We just love coming to LA Star. The food is always so good and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant is always clean, and the prices are very good in comparison to other places. We highly recommend!

I was surprised at the fact that sushi was on a buffet! I was able to try different kinds! The ones that I tried I liked and would eat here again.
